Mindfulness Matters.
Mindfulness can be defined as the act of intentional awareness. It’s a process of self-discovery that encourages individuals to “be present” - even during activities of daily living. Researchers suggest that there is a positive correlation between practicing mindfulness (regularly) and reductions in heart rate and blood pressure and the long-term negative health implications associated with stress and anxiety.
This unique offering is designed to introduce participants to a variety of mindfulness modalities (based on the implementation format) including sound therapy, nature therapy, mindful walking, creative exploration, guided meditation, journaling, mindful eating, aromatherapy, mindful movement, and focused breathing.
Programming can be scheduled as a weekly series, weekend or weekday retreat, or a workshop (based on the topics, modalities, and age group).
NOTE: A consultation is required to help you plan the most effective experience for your group.
Active Aging.
“Growing older is a privilege denied to many” - Unknown
So why not learn ways to support your healthy lifestyle through functional movement, balance training, nutrition, and brain games? This hybrid course is one part health education and one part gentle exercise class. Weekly programming includes pro-aging topics like fall prevention, cognitive health, social wellness, and self-care for adults 55 years and older.

Silver Serenity.
A fun and functional adaptive exercise program that blends mindful movement techniques designed to improve muscle endurance, flexibility, and balance for older adult participants - ages 60 years and better! This series gently progresses from seated to standing with exercises that are supported with the use of a standard chair.

The Care Well Project.
Informal caregivers provide unpaid assistance to older adults and their roles vary based on age and relationship to their care recipients. Michelle Renaud is a care partner and researcher who has developed a yoga & mindfulness program for this deserving population. The series is designed to help lessen the stress and burden associated with caregiving through education, exercise, peer support, and access to community resources. Weekly programming includes caregiving topics like stress management, sleep hygiene, journaling, breath awareness, and self-care strategies for caregivers 18 years and older.

Stable Steps.
Stable Steps is a fall prevention program for caregivers of older adults designed to provide practical health education on the risks of falls and strategies to help caregivers of older adults create safe living environments for their care recipients.
90 Minute Workshop Lecture, Discussion, Handouts, and Interactive Engagement
Eat Right for Life.
Learn how to effectively nourish and fuel your body. Participants will improve their understanding of macronutrients, estimated calorie requirements, and balanced meal planning through a “food play” activity for serving size management. In addition, we will cover the current trends in fad diets and realistic meal planning tips, with group discussions on common nutrition obstacles with strategies to help support successful lifestyle management solutions.

My Healthy Heart.
Learn the fundamentals of heart health and how to establish a lifestyle that supports your cardiovascular wellness. This workshop will include an overview of the cardiovascular system, risk factors for heart disease, and basic prevention tips on ways to develop a sustainable self-care routine through sound nutrition, safe exercise, stress management, and establishing a healthy relationship with your primary care physician.

Stress Less.
According to the American Psychological Association, approximately three-quarters of American adults have experienced the negative health implications associated with stress in the past month, including headaches, fatigue, anxiety, and depression or sadness. This workshop will provide participants with an overview of the physiological effects of chronic stress (short and long-term) and provide practical management tips that can be immediately incorporated into their day!

CPR Certification.
Learn to help save a life through comprehensive CPR training. On-site sessions are designed for corporate and community groups of eight to 12 participants. Each session includes meaningful skills practice, team scenarios, and skills testing. We offer Adult CPR, Adult CPR/First Aid/AED, and Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED. Time commitments will vary based on the course.
