mindful adventures by urban solace

welcome.

A wellness retreat doesn’t have to be expensive or require one to travel great distances in order for it to be beneficial. Sometimes, the most meaningful experiences can be found right in your own backyard.

Our goal is to celebrate the beauty of intentional moments designed to promote peaceful community-building and mindful self-care in the heart of Detroit.

holiday escape.

Step away from the hustle & bustle of the holidays with a restorative, wellness immersion experience. Our mindful adventures are designed to offer a “peaceful pause” in your regularly scheduled programming where you can be present and focus on the benefits of supporting your personal well being.

are you ready to escape?

It all begins with setting aside time for yourself.

We have carefully curated a relaxing “gather & glow” event in a historic Pavillion; on one of the most magnificent, natural gems within our city (Belle Isle).

Your holiday escape will provide ample time for you to unwind, reflect, and reset with a relaxing evening of yoga, mindfulness, and community-building.

prepare to downshift and recharge.

The event will include a warm, welcome reception - a moment to mingle and decompress surrounded by twinkle lights. After settling into the tranquil indoor space, we will transition into a blissful, 90-minute, candlelit yoga session - at sunset.

Your peaceful practice will also feature a mini-wellness workshop with practical tips and resources, aimed to help you set positive intentions & manage stress during the holidays and beyond.

The event will conclude with a casual afterglow, complete with seasonal treats and strategies to help round out your holiday escape on the island.

reserve your space.

Space is limited and registration is required.

All registered participants will receive a welcome kit (48 hours prior to the event), a special gift, a chance to win fun prizes, and access to online mindfulness resources provided by urban solace.

“With our lives seemingly getting busier by the minute, think of your self-care routine as an opportunity to treat yourself with kindness, and spend quality time checking in with your mind and your body.”
