Hydration Station
The human body is comprised of 60-75% water. It is part of our bones, cells, muscles and it makes up a large percentage of our blood volume. Which is why maintaining proper hydration levels is so important. Daily amounts vary based on body composition, climate conditions and physical activity intensity. But to help make the process of consuming H2O more palatable, consider infusing your water with fresh fruit or herbs.
So if improving your water consumption is part of your new healthy lifestyle plan, create a hydration station today. You can use a standard pitcher or a glass infuser to make a large batch or invest in a personal BPA free vessel. Choose from glass, stainless steel or the insulated models that keep your water cold throughout the day. You’ve probably seen my sleek new Asobu canister during our virtual sessions and on Instagram (a gift from Santa). The sky is the limit! Just be sure to clean / sterilize your vessels daily to avoid bacteria growth. Also consider saving the planet and your cash, by investing in a filtration system instead of commercially packaged bottled water. We have a jumbo Brita Canister that (18 cup capacity) that stays in the fridge and has a convenient spout dispenser system. Once your water is chilled, add your favorite flavors to ensure that you’ll consume your new healthy concoction.
